The PUMA hardchorus is easily my favorite piece of advertising activity so far in 2010. It’s going to make every football fan smile and their wives and girlfriends are sure to appreciate it also.

The “oh so” curious case of Benjamin Button!

Just found out this morning from a TED talk that for the first hour of the Brad Pitt film “The curious case of Benjamin Button“, the elderley Benjamin character is completely computer generated from the neck up!

It’s one thing using CGI in say Transformers, Men in Black, space movies, war epics and the like, where nowadays it is almost expected, but for me the true beauty is making it so effective and using it so the audience don’t know your using it and can’t tell, even if they look closely, where you have and haven’t used it!

The genius’ at Digital Domain are responsible for this master trickery and see Ed Ulbrich reveal the secrets here:
