Stumbled across Mike Reeds work yesterday. Very talented guy. Love his posters APG Visual Colour for True North for which he won Gold and Silver at the Fresh Creative Awards and got a nomination in the Rose Awards

Just entered this submission to Democracy.
Democracy is (intro from their website) a challenging new graphic design exhibition forming part of Design Event, the North East’s annual design festival. We’re aiming to create the ultimate democratic exhibition; we’re inviting designers and illustrators to submit their visual interpretation of the theme of Democracy and only those with the most votes will be featured in the exhibition. (now that woul be nice

My poster highlights flaws in democracy when parties simply trying to juggle policies with a view to pleasing the majority rather than standing up for the minority.

The world of the Bat! - Batman Tribute
Saw this cracking video this morning on Drawn
This reminded me (and prompted me to write this post) about all the cracking comms that surrounded the latest installment - The Dark Night, that no doubt played a (albeit small) part in its phenominal success at the box office, most of the success has got to be down to the amazing portrayal of the Joker by the late Heath Ledger, a well deserved oscar in my opinion.
Particularily impressive was the huge viral campaign creating a buzz long before the film hit the big screen!

Band of brothers
Watching the re runs of Band of Brothers on the BBC at the minute and am outstanded by everthing about it!
Not only is it amazing to watch but all the stills, posters, credits blow me away too, well deserved of their Golden Globes I think you’d have to agree!
